This swing away carrier was the perfect solution to carrying e-bikes on the back of our motorhome and still being able to access rear doors.
My wife and I purchased the Rockymount Back Stage last year and have just completed 2000 kms and the bike rack carried our two e bikes perfectly and securely. Fitted to a camper-van it worked so well being able to swing to the side and be able to have full access to the rear door. Putting the rack together was straightforward and easy enough for two oldies. Instructions easy to follow. Service was wonderful as was the delivery time.
Have used this rack on the car and on the camper trailer. It makes carrying the bikes and having access to the vehicles so easy. Love this rack for what it does in all areas of use.
Brilliant Rack. I’ve had mine for a few years now and it’s still as great as the day I got it. When you have bikes worth over 10 grand you need a rock solid rack you can trust, I regularly take bikes interstate, including e-bikes and the Backstage gets them there in perfect condition every time. The swing out feature is fantastic, given the rack is quite heavy we leave ours on all the time, being able to easily swing it out of the way makes life very easy.

The back stage rack is an awesome bit of kit. Tilts down, swings out clear of my barn doors on the cruiser and folds up when not in use. Came with cable to lock bikes to rack. Is heavy but it’s also quality.
This bike rack was exactly what I needed and it works brilliantly on my Prado and Sprinter van. Easy to fit, operate and swingaway to access the rear doors easily. We carry two 20+kg e-bikes and it handles it just fine. Well built, designed and robust, with a nice locking feature.
An awesome design. Purchased the RockyMounts backstage swingaway in January 2021. Rack is fantastic and fit for purpose. Not having to take the bikes off the car every time we wanted to get into the back was the main reason for selecting the Backstage, and it was ideal. My only criticism with the rack is that I think the tongue that inserts into the towbar would be better if it was a bit longer. Given the weight of it, it would strengthen the connection, but the design of this rack is awesome.
Works a treat very stable and gets well out of the way for that big back door.
