The Samsung 48v/10AH-14AH lithium-Ion battery is a powerful, functional and reliable battery. Samsung guarantees the longevity of this battery, including a 1-year warranty. Rest assured, this battery will last many, many charges.
With the AC100-240V smart charger included you can fully charge the battery in 4-6 hours. Simply unclip the battery from the bike and plug it into a standard power supply with the adapter provided (like you would charge anything else!). Clip your battery back into the bike when you’re ready to ride.
The battery sits comfortably in the middle of the frame, a great position that maintains the overall balance of the bike when cornering. It’s key-lockable for added security (2 keys included).
Another great feature that these Samsung batteries offer is that they, themselves, are chargers. Confused? Let us explain.
The Battery comes with a USB port, providing you with the option to charge your phone and other various devices on the go.
Incredibly handy when you’re on the go, for example if you’re running low on phone charge.

Firstly, one major benefit is that the brushless motor is going to offer a lot more torque, making it great to help tackle those big hills in pedal assist doing most of the work for you.
Secondly, brushless motors are far more economical, only drawing on the appropriate power needed for the task at hand. Only the appropriate energy needed will be used while the rest is conserved for future use. Expect this energy conservation to contribute to better battery performance.
Whilst on the topic of battery, it should be noted that the brushless motor’s consumption of energy is a lot more efficient overall than that of a brushed motor. It will draw a lot less power from the battery over a longer period of time. Free up your battery to have longer charges, allowing even longer trip durations.

Front & Rear Tektro HD-E350 Hydraulic Disk Breaks

With the high-powered high-torque motor, you want to know that you’re going to be able to stop suddenly if required. The Diablo can do just that with its TEKTRO HD-E350 hydraulic disc brakes that come fully fitted. Controlled at the handlebars with a 3 finger blade squeeze, levers made of cast aluminium with reach adjustment control the brakes.
The brake calliper consists of a forged aluminium body with metal-ceramic compound pads. They can be easy to replace if needed after heavy use. Rotors have high heat-dispersion and heat-tolerance allowing you to travel faster, further, safer.
These brakes provide serious safety and function.
Integrated Lights (Front & Rear)

Lights are essential to any e-bike. That’s why they come integrate lighting on all Vamos Bikes. The Diablo is no exception.
No more having to worry about flimsy and dim after-market lights that you need to carry around and attach/detach. Come dark you’re ready to ride safe, just turn on the integrated lights and off you go.
The lights themselves run off the same Samsung rechargeable battery used for the pedal assist. So long as you have charge you’re ready to ride.
Reflectors in the wheel spokes underneath and under the seat provide additional visibility when lights are shone on you.

Just bought the El Diablo from Perth WA after a lot of online and in-person research at E Bike stores here in WA. It was cheaper but I must say in no way less quality than bikes that cost $1K more. What a quality bike. Easy to final assemble and so much fun to ride. The guys have been great with questions too. Very happy with my purchase. Only problem now is I don’t want to get off the bike and use the car at all. If my wife gets one, we will buy a Vamos bike again. Thanks Conrad and Mike.

I hadn’t ridden a bike for around 45 yrs, I’ve had my Vamos Diablo for 4 months, I was a bit wobbly at first, but love it now!!
I bought an El Diablo from you a few years back. It’s been a fantastic bike, I use it to commute from the inner west to the city pretty much every day.
I recently had my treasured Diablo e-Bike stolen from my front porch. I got it back minus a number of parts and accessories. I called Vamos to buy parts and they were really attentive and made assisting me a priority. That’s me as a happy customer- great product and great service! Highly recommend.
I swapped out the handlebars for a more relaxed riding position with a bit more of a curved sweep. Added a small bike bag to carry personal items (wallet, phone, keys etc….). Performs well.

The Vamos Diabolo is the perfect city commuter
I’m 67 and haven’t really ridden a bike very much for a long time. Bought the Diablo and am loving it. I don’t worry about hills or getting too tired. My only worries are the magpies.. but putting the bike in pedal assist 5 I can leave them behind pretty quickly. The bike looks to be great quality
I often ride in pedal assist 1 or 0 for the exercise but shift up to 3 or 4 or 5 if I get a bit tired. I now exercise a lot more than I have in the past. I am really enjoying my Vamos Diablo. Also the customer service is above and beyond.

Have only had my El Diablo (The Red Devil) for a week and am loving it. It exceeds all expectations. Spent some time adjusting the seat and handlebars to my size and preferred riding style and find it a very comfortable ride. I find myself choosing to use the El Diablo instead of my car!

This is the best e-bike on the market by far, looks very sleek, handles any terrain like a dream and super easy to operate and use. The throttle is my favourite feature of the El Diablo because it makes the bike really easy to control and super easy to get up hills with. I really am in love with this bike. On top of that I couldn’t recommend Vamos team more as from start to finish I had a fantastic experience with them, all questions were answered properly and thoroughly and they genuinely care about customer experience which means a lot to me.
I got the El Diablo e-bike, high quality, easy to switch between speeds, dashboard so simple to read, easy port for charging, and I can carry it up my single flight of stairs with the light weight. I’m loving it!

I love it… But I’ve pimped mine and since last March have travelled over 10,609kms two sets of brakes and one set of tyres. Give them a go it will change the way you get to work. Fastest speed down hill 56kph but had to hit the breaks so…
UPDATE: Still love my Diablo after now almost 3 years in march just waiting on the upgraded battery, And have ridden almost 25000 km around Sydney in that time. The best investment I ever made.
Purchased my Diablo a year ago due to loss of license. I cant express how amazing this bike has been. I have used it daily to get to and from work for the 4 months whilst without a license. The boys have been amazing in providing support with ordering new brakes at an economical rate.
