Rapido 2026 - Daily Commuter E-Bike Daily Commuter E-Bike

I bought my Rapido at the start of the year (2026), have ridden about 1400kms on it so far, and have been enjoying every second!

The build quality is solid, with no rattles or other noises while riding, and the motor is pretty quiet compared to some other e-bikes. This, combined with the front suspension on the bike, makes for a very smooth and peaceful ride.

The torque sensor means that the motor gradually kicks in and provides the appropriate amount of power, depending on how hard you're pedalling. So, instead of a 'sharp' kick-in feeling that other e-bikes have, riding the Rapido feels natural and smooth, like your legs are 3x stronger!

In terms of the company; it's great to be able to support a local business, and the boys at the shop are always open to help you with any issues you might be having, or just any questions in general.

All in all, great purchase - it's made me ride so much more!

I absolutely adore my rapido bike! It was so easy to put together, easier than assembling IKEA furniture. It's easy to ride and with a pannier bag added on, I can easily do a medium sized load of groceries. We pack things up for a picnic and bike with the kids all around beautiful Canberra. It's so nice to minimise car use and enjoy the beautiful spring weather. I'm very very happy with my bike.

Between my husband and I we have one car and have found an electric bike to be a great option to get around rather than getting a second car for occasional use.

Plus it’s so convenient and helpful for those local trips around town to get some groceries or visit the leisure centers.

My wife Annie went through a comprehensive process in choosing an electric bike. Ultimately Vamos ticked all the boxes. Even then the bike exceeded expectations. We were a bit concerned with not being able to check it out in person. But I thought at worst we could send it back with the free returns. Needless to say, we didn’t return it because it's great. Solidly built, super comfortable and an extremely durable battery. A great purchase.

Life on two wheels ️ Two wheels is better than four. Nice little carry space on the back and easy to ride around in. Can ride all day.

Life is like riding a bike, to stay balanced you must keep moving. I took the quote literally and decided step out of my comfort zone, and try out the 'El Rapido' bike from Vamos Bikes.

I loved it so much I decided it was my Mother's Day gift to Me.

Comfortable and user-friendly, low maintenance, and requires no experience to operate or assemble, 100% Australian road legal, and you don't need a licence or registration. With petrol prices being so high, the Vamos e-bike was the best option to get me around when solo, and has also been an amazing way to release anxiety.

In my research during the first Covid lockdown, I kept on coming back to the Rapido as the best quality-for-price "town" eBike even though it wasn't then in stock. Although I have a much loved Giant 880 front suspension mountain bike, which I rode across Spain following the Camino de Santiago, my view was a different form of bike was needed in response to the pandemic (i.e., avoiding public transport; being able to cycle in good clothes; rack for bag/shopping ...).

I'm so glad I joined the list and waited for the new model with front suspension to arrive in the country.

The Rapido ticks all the boxes for being the perfect "town" bike, and Conrad and Michael's approach to customer service is just great.

It has been almost a year since taking delivery and zipping about on my red Rapido continues to bring much joy.

One of my favourite things to do in summer is cycling. El Rapido is a real game changer. Whether it be a commute or a trip to the gym, I love being out with it. Comfy as well.
