I purchased my brilliant Vamos Papa Grande e-trike a little over 12 months ago from a Vamos agent here in Queensland and I am just as thrilled to bits with it today as I was on day one.10/10. 👍😊It has honestly been one of the best things I've ever bought. I just love it!I'm a retired old bloke and I ride it everywhere and pretty much daily. So much so that I have to remind myself to drive my car occasionally just so I don't let the battery go flat.😀I recently had reason to phone Michael at their Mascot warehouse seeking assistance to source some accessories for it. What an exceptionally nice guy! 👍 He was so incredibly helpful and he went above and beyond to see that I received what I was looking for.This is the very first time that I have ever left a review for anything. I took my 2020 El Rapido with original battery along 50 to 60km rail trails in Victoria. I was worried about the battery life but it did it easily, usually only dropping to 3 bars. The twist throttle is great for take offs.

Really enjoying riding it. It is easy to step through to get on and off and I really love the throttle for when I feel too lazy to pedal. Although it does tend to use the battery up a lot faster if you don't pedal.

First E/Trike Purchase. Wanted something to set up to take me fishing either off the river bank, off the breakwater or off the beach. After looking at a number of trikes I settled on the Papa Grande. 500 Watt motor, available carry baskets, tyre size were all part of my consideration. All trikes had their pluses and minuses, but the Papa Grande came out on top. Not disappointed. The power and acceleration of this machine has impressed me. I have finally finished adding the accessories that I wanted to make it suitable for the purpose intended. These include a floor in the cargo rack, rear board to accommodate rod holders, additional tail/blinker remote light, dual headlights (a low and high beam) to help find my way off the beach at night, mirrors, and an electronic horn. The attached photos show the finished product, and yes, the "number plate" says it all. Happy to provide any further details if required. Note. this trike is probably not suitable for shorter people. At my height of 166 centimetres and the seat at its lowest setting, the ride setup is just right. If I was any shorter I would probably struggle with pedal reach.

I recently purchased a Vamos Rapido. This is one of the best things that I have ever done and would recommend it to any one who is thinking about it and maybe a bit doubtful. Have no fears you will never regret it. Excellent before and after sales service and easy to assemble, only a couple of allen keys needed. I am 93 years of age and need the power assisted exercise so that I can go at my own pace. Steepest of hills no problem. The longest ride so far is 7ks out 7ks back, plenty of battery left. Have only had it since just before Christmas so still learning, but no problems there. So my message to everyone is "Get on your Bike" Cheers.

What an amazing locally owned Australian company. From the moment I spoke to Conrad and his staff I was astounded by the dedication of him and his team team. After explaining to Conrad my needs and wants he pointed me to a bike that I have now owned for over 14 months. I go everywhere on my bike and I'm so pleased I made the decision to buy one. No matter what the question was, I could call their friendly dedicated team and they were ready to assist me in any possible way. In fact I had an issue where I had knocked a wire off the battery. I rang Vamos and within a couple of hours I had Conrad ringing me back to arrange a time to come and try and fix the problem. He was there within an hour of my phone call and sorted the problem for me at no charge. VAMOS electric bike’s service is second to none. Not only would I buy another bike in the future but I would recommend this company to not only my mates but to the whole of Australia. I’ve just received my new El Hefe. What a bike! I live in a hilly area & the bike flys up the hills with no problem. It’s comfortable, looks good & comes complete. Nothing else to buy. If you don’t have one, get one now![UPDATE] It’s been a year since I posted , so, I thought I’d update. I’m still loving my El hefe. Being over 60 & partially disabled, exercise can be problematic. With El Hefe, no problems. Comfortable seat, good gear range & good battery life. The customer service from the Vamos team has been exemplary. I’ve customised my bike, with a springer front forks & leather saddle bags, to give that vintage look.I love my bike. I can’t recommend Vamos Bikes enough !

Bought this about a year ago and it has changed everything for me. I’ve never been a fan of biking. Now I actually enjoy it and can go pretty far and uphill with the help of the battery. I am glad that I waited for the Papa Grande 2024, it's Pedal Assist is just ingenious! an joy to ride the basket in the back is a solid build the Limited Slip Differential makes cornering more predictable. The Pedal Assist is not so instant as it senses your pressure on the pedal rather than full power. 🥰
