I'm 67 and haven't really ridden a bike very much for a long time. Bought the Diablo and am loving it. I don't worry about hills or getting too tired. My only worries are the magpies.. but putting the bike in pedal assist 5 I can leave them behind pretty quickly. The bike looks to be great qualityI often ride in pedal assist 1 or 0 for the exercise but shift up to 3 or 4 or 5 if I get a bit tired. I now exercise a lot more than I have in the past. I am really enjoying my Vamos Diablo. Also the customer service is above and beyond.Thanks Vamos Bikes!

I love it! I’m not much of a cycling person (weak legs) but being able to zoom up hills on the Amigo made riding a total breeze. I think the option to have an extra seat on the back or change it to a bag holder is an amazing design. Highly recommend this bike to anyone and everyone!

I have had my El Hefe for a few weeks now and consider it as one of the best purchases I have made. I bought it as an easy alternative for my commute to work each day. Most of my ride is along a bike track and after a few days was wondering why everyone was waving and saying hello as I rode past. I then realised/was told that it was cause I was smiling at everyone as we passed. Riding my new bike makes me happy and I can't thank Vamos enough for making a product that really does do what it says it will do on the box.

I purchased the Vamos El Hefe at the end of January 2019 and it's been spot on for commuting to and from work without breaking a sweat. The lo, med, hi power settings are really handy and the throttle really helps when you need a quick boost when riding in one of the lower power settings or if you stop pedalling. Although this bike is on the heavier side of other road bikes the brakes last a lot longer than expected. I did recently get a puncture on the rear wheel and the Vamos team was really helpful and responsive to come fix it. It's really comfortable to ride and I really like the style. I've had it 10 months now and I still love it.My commute to work is 9km one way and one charge easily does the two way journey on full power with three of the five l.e.d's still lit on the battery.Weighing up the battery life, durability, style, power and price I'd highly recommend this bike to anyone. It definitely beats catching the depressing bus to work.

I swapped out the handlebars for a more relaxed riding position with a bit more of a curved sweep. Added a small bike bag to carry personal items (wallet, phone, keys etc….). Performs well.

Love riding my bike to work across the harbour bridge. So quick and easy compared to being on a packed bus. Would recommend a Vamos bike to anyone. Make the change from public transport to Vamos Bikes :D

It's a ture workhorse! Perfect for lugging me and all my gear around (and the occassional slab of beer on the back). Mates love hopping on the back for a lift. Handles a passanger well. With a passanger you do notice a slight drop in speed but that's expected

Great bike overall, battery is pretty efficient. I live about 15 km from work and can ride to and back on a full charge. Goes up the hill near central station on Foveaux St pretty easily.

Purchased my Diablo a year ago due to loss of license. I cant express how amazing this bike has been. I have used it daily to get to and from work for the 4 months whilst without a license. The boys have been amazing in providing support with ordering new brakes at an economical rate.Just want to say HUGE thank you!!!! I ordered a Vamos Rapido 2021. It was delivered within a week and to say I was impressed with the bike is an understatement. Best packaging I have ever seen and an absolutely fantastic bike. In my research during the first Covid lockdown, I kept on coming back to the Rapido as the best quality-for-price "town" eBike even though it wasn't then in stock. Although I have a much loved Giant 880 front suspension mountain bike, which I rode across Spain following the Camino de Santiago, my view was a different form of bike was needed in response to the pandemic (i.e., avoiding public transport; being able to cycle in good clothes; rack for bag/shopping ...).I'm so glad I joined the list and waited for the new model with front suspension to arrive in the country.The Rapido ticks all the boxes for being the perfect "town" bike, and Conrad and Michael's approach to customer service is just great.It has been almost a year since taking delivery and zipping about on my red Rapido continues to bring much joy.

I needed a folding electric bike that could also ride on dirt roads where I live. I wanted something that had a big battery capacity and good torque for hills. Vamos bike arrived and is just perfect it’s a lovely small bike beautiful to ride and comes with a very comfortable seat. Service from Vamos was great. I highly recommend it 5 stars!
