This bike rack was exactly what I needed and it works brilliantly on my Prado and Sprinter van. Easy to fit, operate and swingaway to access the rear doors easily. We carry two 20+kg e-bikes and it handles it just fine. Well built, designed and robust, with a nice locking feature.

Great bike overall, battery is pretty efficient. I live about 15 km from work and can ride to and back on a full charge. Goes up the hill near central station on Foveaux St pretty easily.

It’s been more than a year now since I’ve sold my car and chosen to commute to work exclusively by bike. Alternating days on my road bike and ebike, I get to ride by the river and through park lands daily vs being stuck in traffic. 2 days on the Vamos El Hefe and 3 days on my road bike makes it sustainable and fun. I took my 2020 El Rapido with original battery along 50 to 60km rail trails in Victoria. I was worried about the battery life but it did it easily, usually only dropping to 3 bars. The twist throttle is great for take offs.
