I just love this electric bike (El Rapido) and the extra support it gives me to keep up with my mates when riding. The extra help from the motor when going up hills is just wonderful. In general, I feel a little bit safer knowing I have that extra acceleration to rely on if needed to get me out of trouble

I swapped out the handlebars for a more relaxed riding position with a bit more of a curved sweep. Added a small bike bag to carry personal items (wallet, phone, keys etc….). Performs well.

It’s been more than a year now since I’ve sold my car and chosen to commute to work exclusively by bike. Alternating days on my road bike and ebike, I get to ride by the river and through park lands daily vs being stuck in traffic. 2 days on the Vamos El Hefe and 3 days on my road bike makes it sustainable and fun.
