What an awesome find the El Doblez has been! It gets me to the beach, to the shops and to work - all without breaking a sweat. Just bought the El Diablo from Perth WA after a lot of online and in-person research at E Bike stores here in WA. It was cheaper but I must say in no way less quality than bikes that cost $1K more. What a quality bike. Easy to final assemble and so much fun to ride. The guys have been great with questions too. Very happy with my purchase. Only problem now is I don't want to get off the bike and use the car at all. If my wife gets one, we will buy a Vamos bike again. Thanks Conrad and Mike.

This bike is everything that I have come to expect from Vamos. The quality is exceptional. I bought the larger battery option. The battery is from Tesla!! It has a USB A connector on the handle bar so you can have your phone charged as you ride. The pedal assist is excellent!! As you step harder it will help you move faster. This very stable e-bike is like a mobile chair with parking brakes. I can see myself using ti to go on a picnic. You can carry everything with you. There's also tools included to complete the bike.Update: This is a bike for those who need carrying capacity. Go shopping with this Bad Boy!! I find the low stepping frame is also a good thing for those who cannot swing the leg over. The Motor provides plenty of power and can easily handle the extra weight from you + a full load. The Limited Slip Differential makes cornering less of a worry. Lights work real well, including the rear brake light that lights up when you pull in the brakes. Hydraulic brakes has the stopping power!! A very comfortable seat. The colours are good too, I like the Black & Red. After using it a bit I do feel it could get the full 100KM range or more if you wanted to take it that far before chanrging.Overall, I highly recommend. So go and grab this 2Nd series while they have stock!!

I purchased the Vamos El Hefe at the end of January 2019 and it's been spot on for commuting to and from work without breaking a sweat. The lo, med, hi power settings are really handy and the throttle really helps when you need a quick boost when riding in one of the lower power settings or if you stop pedalling. Although this bike is on the heavier side of other road bikes the brakes last a lot longer than expected. I did recently get a puncture on the rear wheel and the Vamos team was really helpful and responsive to come fix it. It's really comfortable to ride and I really like the style. I've had it 10 months now and I still love it.My commute to work is 9km one way and one charge easily does the two way journey on full power with three of the five l.e.d's still lit on the battery.Weighing up the battery life, durability, style, power and price I'd highly recommend this bike to anyone. It definitely beats catching the depressing bus to work.
